Welcome to Tegan Maree Medium.
These Terms & Conditions explain how bookings, payments, cancellations and service delivery work across my psychic and mediumship readings, Reiki services and other spiritual offerings.
Please read these terms carefully before booking or purchasing a service.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
1. General Terms & Services
Tegan Maree Medium provides psychic and mediumship readings, intuitive guidance, card readings, Reiki energy healing and other spiritual services.
Services may be delivered through live Zoom appointments, personalised emailed recordings or remote group sessions, depending on the service purchased.
All services are intended to support spiritual exploration, personal reflection, relaxation and general wellbeing.
By booking or purchasing a service through Tegan Maree Medium, you acknowledge that you have been given the opportunity to review these Terms & Conditions.
All services are provided in accordance with applicable Australian laws, including Australian Consumer Law.
2. Psychic & Mediumship Readings
All psychic and mediumship readings provided by Tegan Maree Medium are intended for spiritual exploration, intuitive guidance and personal reflection.
Every reading is approached with care, compassion, honesty and integrity.
While every effort is made to provide a meaningful experience, the nature of psychic and mediumship work means that specific messages, predictions, outcomes or connections with particular loved ones cannot be guaranteed.
Information shared during a reading is based on intuitive and spiritual interpretation and should not be considered a statement of verified fact or a guarantee of future events.
Clients are encouraged to approach their sessions with an open mind while exercising their own judgement regarding any information received.
Readings are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits any rights or guarantees available under Australian Consumer Law.
3. Bookings & Payments
3.1 Booking Methods
Tegan Maree Medium offers services through the following booking and purchasing methods:
Live Zoom Readings: Booked through Acuity Scheduling.
Emailed Readings & Services: Purchased directly through the Tegan Maree Medium website.
Monthly Group Distance Reiki: Purchased directly through the Tegan Maree Medium website.
3.2 Payment Requirements
Full payment is required at the time of booking or purchase unless otherwise expressly stated.
A booking or purchase is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and confirmation has been provided.
All prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD).
3.3 Booking Information
Clients are responsible for providing accurate contact details, including their email address, when booking or purchasing a service.
Tegan Maree Medium is not responsible for delays caused solely by incorrect information provided by the client, but will make reasonable efforts to resolve delivery or communication issues.
3.4 Payment Processing
Payments are processed through the secure third-party payment providers made available during checkout.
Tegan Maree Medium does not directly collect or store complete payment card details.
3.5 Refunds & Cancellations
Cancellation, rescheduling, booking credit and refund arrangements vary depending on the service purchased.
The applicable conditions are outlined in the relevant sections of these Terms & Conditions.
All payment and refund arrangements remain subject to Australian Consumer Law.
4. Zoom Readings - Cancellations & Rescheduling
4.1 Cancellation & Rescheduling Notice
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule a scheduled Zoom reading.
Cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted through the booking management link provided in your confirmation email or by contacting Tegan Maree Medium directly.
4.2 Rescheduling Appointments
Appointments may be rescheduled without an additional charge when at least 24 hours notice is provided.
There is currently no limit on the number of times an appointment may be rescheduled, subject to availability.
4.3 Cancellations with at Least 24 Hours Notice
Clients who cancel their appointment with at least 24 hours notice may choose to:
Reschedule their appointment to another available date and time.
Receive booking credit towards a future service.
Booking credit is valid for 12 months from the original appointment date.
Change of mind refunds are not ordinarily offered.
4.4 Late Cancellations
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may result in forfeiture of the appointment payment.
4.5 Missed Appointments & No-Shows
Clients who fail to attend their scheduled appointment without providing notice may forfeit their appointment payment.
4.6 Cancellations by Tegan Maree Medium
If Tegan Maree Medium needs to cancel an appointment, clients will be offered the choice of rescheduling to another available time or receiving a full refund.
4.7 Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
Where a refund or other remedy is required by law, it will be provided.
5. Emailed Readings & Delivery
5.1 Service Delivery
Personalised emailed readings purchased through the Tegan Maree Medium website are prepared individually and delivered electronically to the email address provided at the time of purchase.
Emailed readings are not live appointments and do not require clients to attend a scheduled session.
5.2 Delivery Timeframes
All personalised emailed readings will be completed and delivered within 14 calendar days of the date of purchase, unless an alternative timeframe has been communicated and agreed upon.
Clients are responsible for providing a valid and accurate email address and are encouraged to check their spam or junk folders if their reading has not arrived.
5.3 Cancellations Before Completion
Please purchase mindfully, as personalised emailed readings are non-refundable for change of mind from the time of purchase.
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that your reading is a personalised service prepared specifically for you and will be delivered within 14 calendar days of purchase.
Requests to cancel an order after purchase may be considered at the discretion of Tegan Maree Medium, subject to applicable law.
This policy does not exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law, including where a service is not delivered as agreed or fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.
5.4 Completed & Delivered Readings
Once a personalised emailed reading has been completed and delivered, refunds for change of mind are not ordinarily offered.
Dissatisfaction based solely on a reading not matching personal expectations or preferred spiritual messages does not automatically entitle a client to a refund.
This does not affect any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law, including where a service fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee.
5.5 Delays or Delivery Issues
If unforeseen circumstances prevent delivery within the agreed timeframe, Tegan Maree Medium will contact the client as soon as reasonably possible to discuss an updated delivery date or another appropriate resolution.
Where a service is not delivered as agreed, clients retain their rights to remedies under Australian Consumer Law.
5.6 Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this section excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
6. Monthly Group Distance Reiki
6.1 Session Format
Tegan Maree Medium offers monthly group distance Reiki sessions, delivered remotely at a scheduled date and time.
These sessions are conducted silently, meaning participants are not required to attend a live video call, telephone appointment or online meeting.
Each group session includes collective distance Reiki, pre and post session collective card readings, and a channelled audio debrief for the group.
As these are collective experiences, individual messages, personal readings or specific spiritual outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
6.2 Bookings & Payments
Full payment is required at the time of purchase to secure a place in the selected monthly group distance Reiki session.
Bookings are confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
6.3 Cancellations & Change of Mind
Please book mindfully, as monthly group distance Reiki bookings are non-refundable for change of mind from the time of purchase.
By completing a purchase, clients acknowledge that they are reserving a place in a specific scheduled group session and accept the disclosed cancellation conditions.
This policy does not exclude any refund or other remedy required under Australian Consumer Law.
6.4 Attendance & Participation
As group Reiki is delivered remotely, participants do not need to be physically present or online at the scheduled session time.
Choosing not to actively participate or being unavailable at the scheduled time does not ordinarily entitle a client to a change of mind refund.
6.5 Session Cancellations by Tegan Maree Medium
If Tegan Maree Medium cancels a scheduled group Reiki session, participants will be offered the choice of transferring their booking to a future session or receiving a full refund.
6.6 Session Postponements
If a session needs to be postponed, participants will be notified as soon as reasonably possible.
An alternative session date will be offered, along with a refund or other appropriate remedy where required by law.
6.7 Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
7. Late Arrivals & Technical Issues
7.1 Appointment Start Times
Clients are encouraged to join their scheduled Zoom reading on time and ensure they have a suitable internet connection, functioning device and quiet environment for their session.
7.2 Late Arrivals
If a client joins their scheduled appointment late, the session may need to finish at its originally scheduled end time to avoid affecting subsequent bookings.
Additional time cannot be guaranteed, and the full appointment fee will ordinarily remain payable where the service can still reasonably be provided.
If a client does not attend their appointment, the no-show provisions outlined in Section 4 may apply, subject to applicable law.
7.3 Client Technical Difficulties
Clients are responsible for taking reasonable steps to ensure their device, internet connection, microphone and Zoom application are functioning before their appointment.
If technical difficulties occur, clients should contact Tegan Maree Medium as soon as reasonably possible.
Where practical, reasonable efforts will be made to reconnect, continue the session or arrange an alternative solution.
7.4 Technical Difficulties Experienced by Tegan Maree Medium
If technical difficulties on my end prevent a session from proceeding or being completed, I will offer an appropriate resolution, which may include rescheduling, completing the remaining session time or providing a refund.
Any remedy required under Australian Consumer Law will be provided.
7.5 Unexpected Interruptions
I understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, including power outages, internet disruptions and other events outside a client's control.
These situations will be considered individually, with reasonable efforts made to find a fair solution.
7.6 Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this section excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
8. Reiki & Spiritual Service Disclaimers
8.1 Nature of Services
Tegan Maree Medium provides psychic readings, mediumship, intuitive guidance, card readings and Reiki energy healing services within a spiritual and holistic framework.
These services are intended to support personal reflection, spiritual exploration, relaxation and general wellbeing.
8.2 Reiki & Energy Healing
Reiki is a complementary spiritual wellbeing practice. It is not a medical treatment, and its effectiveness for treating specific medical conditions has not been scientifically established.
Reiki sessions are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure medical or psychological conditions.
Individual experiences may vary, and no specific physical, emotional or spiritual outcomes are guaranteed.
8.3 Professional Advice
Services provided by Tegan Maree Medium are not substitutes for qualified medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.
Clients should consult an appropriately qualified professional regarding health concerns, mental health difficulties, legal matters or financial decisions.
Clients should not discontinue prescribed medication or professional treatment based on information received during a session.
8.4 Spiritual Guidance & Personal Decisions
Psychic and mediumship readings involve subjective spiritual and intuitive interpretation.
No particular prediction, message, connection or outcome can be guaranteed.
Clients remain responsible for their own decisions and are encouraged to consider spiritual guidance alongside their personal circumstances and any relevant professional advice.
8.5 Emotional Wellbeing
Mediumship readings may involve sensitive subjects, including grief, bereavement and personal experiences.
Clients are welcome to communicate if they feel uncomfortable or need a pause during a session.
Where additional emotional or psychological support is needed, clients are encouraged to seek assistance from an appropriately qualified professional.
8.6 Consumer Rights
Nothing in these disclaimers excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
Tegan Maree Medium remains responsible for providing services with the care and skill required by applicable law.
9. Client Conduct & Confidentiality
9.1 Respectful Communication
Tegan Maree Medium is committed to providing a welcoming, compassionate and respectful environment for all clients.
Clients are expected to communicate respectfully before, during and after their sessions.
Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing or otherwise inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
9.2 Professional Boundaries
To maintain a respectful and professional relationship, communication outside scheduled appointments should relate to bookings, service enquiries or other reasonable business matters.
Additional readings, ongoing spiritual guidance or follow-up messages are not included in a purchased service unless expressly stated in the service description.
Requests for additional services may require a separate booking and payment.
9.3 Refusal or Discontinuation of Services
Tegan Maree Medium reserves the right to decline future bookings or discontinue a session where reasonably necessary due to threatening, abusive, harassing or unsafe behaviour.
Any cancellation, refund or other remedy will be assessed fairly, taking into account the circumstances and applicable Australian Consumer Law.
9.4 Client Confidentiality
Personal experiences, information and sensitive matters shared during readings and Reiki sessions will be treated with care, discretion and respect.
Client information will not be publicly disclosed without appropriate consent, except where disclosure is required or authorised by law.
9.5 Privacy & Information Handling
Personal information collected through bookings, purchases and communications will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the Tegan Maree Medium Privacy Policy.
Information may be shared with trusted third-party providers where reasonably necessary to process bookings, payments, communications or deliver purchased services, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
9.6 Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this section excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
10. Privacy, Recordings & Testimonials
10.1 Personal Information
Tegan Maree Medium collects personal information reasonably necessary to manage bookings, process payments, communicate with clients and deliver purchased services.
This may include names, email addresses, contact details, booking information and information voluntarily shared during sessions.

10.2 Confidentiality of Sessions
Information shared during private readings and Reiki sessions will be treated with care and discretion.
Identifiable client information, personal stories and session details will not be publicly shared without appropriate consent, unless disclosure is required or authorised by law.
10.3 Recording of Sessions
Clients are asked to obtain permission before making audio or video recordings of live sessions.
Tegan Maree Medium will seek appropriate consent before recording a private session.
Where a recording is agreed upon, the parties should understand how it will be used, stored and shared.
10.4 Testimonials & Client Experiences
Client testimonials, reviews, feedback and personal experiences may be shared for promotional purposes only with appropriate permission.
Where testimonials include sensitive or identifying information, additional care will be taken to obtain clear consent for the intended use.
Clients are under no obligation to provide testimonials or agree to promotional use of their experiences.
10.5 Third-Party Service Providers
Bookings, payments, emails and website services may be facilitated through third-party platforms, including Squarespace, Zoom and Acuity Scheduling.
Relevant personal information may be processed by these providers where necessary to deliver services, subject to applicable privacy requirements.

10.6 Privacy Enquiries

11. Australian Consumer Law
11.1 Consumer Guarantees
All services provided by Tegan Maree Medium are subject to applicable consumer protections under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Where applicable, these guarantees include that services will:
Be provided with due care and skill.
Be reasonably fit for any agreed or disclosed purpose.
Be delivered within a reasonable timeframe where no specific timeframe has been agreed.
11.2 Refunds & Remedies
If a service fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, clients may be entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include having the service provided again, a partial or full refund, cancellation or other appropriate remedy.
11.3 Cancellation Policies
The cancellation and refund conditions outlined in these Terms & Conditions apply to change of mind cancellations and other circumstances where permitted by law.
These conditions do not override any statutory consumer rights.
Any cancellation fees must be lawful, fair and reasonable in the circumstances.
11.4 No Exclusion of Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under Australian Consumer Law.

All concerns will be considered fairly and respectfully, with appropriate remedies provided where required by law.

By completing a booking or purchase, clients acknowledge that they have been provided with access to these Terms & Conditions and agree to the applicable terms, subject to Australian Consumer Law.
